Trustee Directors

Trustee Directors are responsible for ensuring Vision Super is managed properly in the best interests of all members. There are eight directors, four elected by members and four appointed on the nomination of employer associations.

Darrell Cochrane became the Chairperson of Vision Super Pty Ltd on 1 July 2009.  He was originally elected as a Member Director in 1998, and was appointed to the former Trustee of the Fund, the Local Authorities Superannuation Board (LASB) in 1993. He was formerly the Branch Secretary of the Australian Services Union -Victorian Authorities & Services Branch. Darrell's Alternate Director is Brian Parkinson.
Michael Tilley was appointed as an Employer Director in 1998 on the nomination of the Victorian Water Industry Association. He is a Company Managing Director and is Chairman of the Lower Murray Region Water Authority. Michael's Alternate Director is Steve Bird.
Wendy Phillips is a Homecarer employed by the City of Greater Dandenong. She was originally appointed as a Member Director in 1998 on the nomination of the Australian Services Union. Wendy's Alternate Director is Bill Watton.
Tony Tuohey is a self-employed Financial Consultant and was originally appointed to LASB in 1996. He was appointed as a Member Director of Vision Super Pty Ltd in 1998 on the nomination of the Australian Services Union. Tony's Alternate Director is Bill Watton.
Russell Atwood is Branch Executive President of the Australian Services Union – Victorian Authorities and Services Branch. He was appointed as a Member Director of Vision Super Pty Ltd in July 2009. Russell's Alternate Director is Brian Parkinson.
Angela Emslie was appointed as an Employer Director in 1998 on the nomination of the Victorian Employers' Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She is a professional trustee and a Consultant. Angela's Alternate Director is Leigh Harder.
Rob Spence was appointed as an Employer Director on 1 July 2003 on the nomination of the Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV). He is Chief Executive Officer of the MAV and a former Chief Executive Officer of the City of Brimbank. Rob's Alternate Director is Alison Lyon.
Geoff Lake was appointed to Vision Super in August 2009, on the nomination of the Municipal Association of Victoria. He has been a Councillor with the City of Monash since March 2000, and was Mayor from 2002 - 2004. He was President of the MAV from 2004-2006, and is current President of the Australian Local Government Association (since November 2008). Geoff's Alternate Director is Alison Lyon.
 
Paul Curtin is the Company Secretary.
Paul is also one Vision Super's Executives.
