Member Maintenance

What do I do when a new employee is already a Vision Super member?
You'll need to inform us that their employer details have changed. Employment transfer forms must be completed by the member's previous employer first (Form 30 for Super Saver and Form 30a for Defined Benefit plans). However, if they are Super Saver members you can enrol them using the Super Saver registration form before the previous employer has completed the transfer form.

Please use the member's membership number on the  Registration form (Form 1). Super Saver members can also be registered online in the employer secure site.

For Defined Benefit members, the transfer form must be used. Please contact the member's previous employer directly if you have not received the form.

How do I sign up a new employee as a Vision Super member?
The best way to add a new member is by using the employer secure section of the website. For directions on how to add a member online, read the Super Saver administration manual found in the publications section of the secure site.

New members can also be added by completing a Registration form (Form 1) with the employee's details and sending it to us.

How do I keep an employee's details up to date?
During the course of an employee's working life, you'll need to change their employment details from time to time. You can make changes to an employee's records quickly and easily by completing the relevant form in the employers forms section. Changes can also be made online with the secure section of the employers website.

It is important to keep us informed of any changes to a member's name, address, employment status (e.g. casual or full-time) and salary if they are defined benefit members.

What do I do if an employee leaves?
Notifying Vision Super when members leave ensures benefits are processed smoothly and quickly. You can notify us that an employee has left by using one of the employee termination forms (Form 19 for Super Saver members or Form 24 for Defined Benefit members).

You can also terminate members online.   Read the administration manuals in the publications section of the employer secure site to learn more.
