How to sign up
To transfer your existing allocated pension or super to a Vision Allocated Pension:
- Complete the Vision Allocated Pension Application Form
- Complete the Request to Transfer or Rollover Superannuation Benefits into Vision Super.
If transferring money from more than one account into a single Vision Allocated Pension, fill out a separate transfer form for each account.
As we cannot set up your allocated pension until money has been received from all sources, we will temporarily hold your money in a Vision Personal Plan. Your money will be invested in the same option as you have elected for your allocated pension.
The rules about the minimum amounts that you can withdraw from an allocated pension changed from 1 July 2007. If you started your old allocated pension(s) before 1 July 2007, you should check that you understand the new rules that apply. These are set out in the Vision Income Streams Product Disclosure Statement on page 10. |
Succession Issues
While this is not a subject that everybody wants to think about, it is necessary to make a decision about what will happen to your allocated pension in the event of your death.
You have three options:
- If you wish your spouse to continue to receive the balance of your account in the event of your death, you need to do this at the time you set the allocated pension up. Complete the Reversionary Beneficiary Nomination Form
- Alternatively, you may wish to leave the balance of your account to your nominated dependents or legal personal representatives. In this case, complete the Binding Death Beneficiary Nomination
-
If you do nothing, in the event of your death, the balance of your account will be dealt with in accordance with your Will and the law.
Finally, please return the completed forms to Vision Super, PO Box 18041 Collins Street East, Melbourne Victoria, 8003.
