Vision Super becomes a Public Offer Superannuation Fund

From February 2007, Vision Super will become a Public Offer Superannuation Fund, allowing us to open our doors to the general public.

As the name suggests, a Public Offer Superannuation Fund is a fund that anyone can join. In the past, as a standard employer sponsored fund, you could only join Vision Super through your employer. Our upcoming Public Offer Status will be an excellent way for the Fund to expand its membership base, improving economies of scale, and offering our products and services to a wider audience for the first time.

This could be a great opportunity for members with family and friends looking to join a new fund, or switching from an old one, to join Vision Super. By doing so, they can benefit from our solid investment performance and low fee, members` first philosophy.

This is especially relevant now as the extensive tax changes proposed in the 2006 Federal Budget will make investing in superannuation better than ever before, with super now the most tax effective way to save for retirement.
