Here you can see how our investment options have performed over the last 10 years. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
The latest investment returns are shown below for all Vision Super products that provide access to multiple investment options. Returns for an investment option are calculated differently depending on whether investments in the option are held in an accumulation (or ‘super’) account, transition to retirement (or ‘non-commutable income stream’ (NCAP)) account or account based pension (retirement pension) account. This is because investment earnings on retirement pension accounts are untaxed.
You can filter by selecting different time periods, option names, and account types. The table and chart will refresh automatically.
Returns for SUPER and NCAP options
Are shown net of tax on investment earnings, net of the reserving margin, and net of all investment fees and costs, including transaction costs. For further information on the fees and costs paid from assets (and therefore from returns) please see the applicable PDS.
Returns for RETIREMENT PENSION options
Are show net of reserving margins and all investment fees and costs, including transaction costs. For further information on the fees and costs paid from assets (and therefore from returns) please see the applicable PDS
If an option return percentage is missing, that option was not available for the full investment period.
Investors should be aware that returns may go up and down, so past returns are no guarantee of future performance.
On 1 July 2017, there were tax changes which impacted the investment options held in NCAP accounts. Members who have NCAP accounts should refer to the table under the heading “Super and NCAP options” for the investment performance returns for the periods from 1 July 2017. For investment performance returns over longer periods, members should contact us on 1300 300 820 or email us on memberservices@visionsuper.com.au

The options have now been streamlined into one. As a first step, the Active Super ‘Managed Cash’ option was renamed as ‘Cash’. On 7 October 2025, that investment option was closed and any money invested was switched into the (Vision Super) Cash investment option.

On 1 March 2025, Local Government Super (Active Super) merged with the Local Authorities Superannuation Fund (Vision Super). From that date, the investment options in the merged fund have been managed in line with Vision Super’s investment strategy. The performance figures shown include the previous returns from Active Super up until 1 March 2025 and the returns from Vision Super from 1 March 2025 onwards. These figures may not represent the future performance of the merged fund and should not be the sole basis for choosing a superannuation fund. Other factors, including fees, investment objectives, and risk, should also be considered, which can be accessed via the relevant PDS or by calling us at 1300 300 820.
