Our responsible investment approach

We have a Responsible Investment Policy which sets out how we incorporate environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into our investment decision making. ESG considerations include our investment exclusions, carbon budget framework and active ownership activities. Our focus is the best financial interests of members. For more information refer to our Responsible investment policy.

Company exclusions

The Trustee has determined exclusion categories for directly held listed equities "(companies)".

Carbon budget

Vision Super seeks to help manage financial climate change risks associated with its investments by applying a carbon budget framework to directly held listed equities.

Our ESG service providers

We may engage external service providers to help us with implementation of our Responsible Investment Policy. Key providers include MSCI and Glass Lewis.

Active ownership

Vision Super also takes an active ownership approach to certain investments by exercising shareholder rights in relation, and engaging in collaboration and engagement with, companies about ESG factors where practicable.
