You can transfer insurance cover you may have in another super fund when you move your super balance into Vision Super. However, a transfer of your insurance cover isn’t as easy as a rollover of your super fund account. So, before you complete any rollover into the Fund, make sure you’ve moved your insurance over first (that’s if you want to keep it). Terms and conditions apply. It's important to remember that super fund's don't all use the same insurer and conditions in Vision Super can differ even if the amount of your cover is transferred to your accumulation account with Vision Super
The easiest way to transfer your insurance is to log into Vision online. Once logged in, select Insurance from the main menu and click on the “Manage my insurance” button. In the insurance management section, select “Transfer my cover” at the bottom of the page and then follow the prompts. Also ensure you read the applicable Insurance Guide for more detailed information about the transfer of cover.

Step 2:
Attach a super statement issued within the last six months from your other super fund. The statement needs to show your current and active insurance cover.
If you don’t have a current statement, just give them a call and ask them to send or email you one.
Step 3:
Wait for us to get in touch before you rollover your super balance and/or cancel your insurance cover with your other fund. We will contact you to let you know if your application has been successful. The transfer of your insurance cover is subject to acceptance by our insurer. In particular, the terms and conditions of our insurance policies apply, as well as any transfer of special conditions (i.e. exclusions or premium loadings). Some limitations do apply.
If your application is successful, you will usually receive an amount of cover equivalent to the cover that you have with your other fund.
Death and/or TPD insurance cover will be on top of any cover you already have with Vision Super, but income protection cover will replace any income protection cover you hold with us.
